Are Contact Lenses a Good Fit for You?

Our job is to walk through your options and help you make an informed choice, whether you’re a new wearer, returning after a break, or adjusting to vision changes.

We fit contact lenses for:

  • Adults who want flexibility for work, travel, or recreation
  • Teens who are ready for more independence
  • Patients with strong or changing prescriptions
  • Post-surgical patients looking to refine their vision

What to Expect During a Contact Lens Fitting

Fitting contact lenses is more than matching a prescription. It’s about ensuring your lenses fit your eyes, your vision needs, and your routine.

Our process includes:

  • A detailed contact lens exam
  • Lens selection based on comfort, corneal shape, and prescription
  • Training on insertion, removal, and lens care
  • Follow-ups to check fit, vision, and eye health
  • Ongoing monitoring to keep things working as they should

Options for Patients Who Struggle With Standard Lenses

Some eyes need a little more support. We offer a range of specialty lenses for patients with complex prescriptions, specific conditions, or post-surgical care needs.

These include:

  • Lenses for astigmatism
  • Multifocal lenses for distance and near vision
  • Rigid gas-permeable (RGP) lenses for sharper correction
  • Scleral lenses for dry eye or irregular corneas
  • Post-LASIK or post-cataract lenses for visual fine-tuning

If you’ve been told you’re “not a candidate” elsewhere, we’re happy to re-evaluate.

We help patients:

  • Walk you through insertion and removal

  • Answer questions about care, comfort, or screen use
  • Involve parents in the process when needed
  • Follow up to make sure you’re adjusting well
