Dr. Wear is a therapeutic optometrist with glaucoma certification in Texas. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Mount Holyoke College.
Her clinical training includes extensive experience in ocular disease, binocular vision, and specialty contact lenses, including orthokeratology, gas-permeable, multifocal, and scleral lenses. This background allows her to care for a wide range of patients, from children and contact lens wearers to those managing complex eye conditions.
As a native Spanish speaker, Dr. Wear values clear communication and strives to make every patient feel seen, heard, and understood. She brings a calm, thoughtful approach to each visit and enjoys helping patients feel informed and supported in their care.
Outside the office, she enjoys gardening, exploring the local community, and spending time with family and friends.
